At the heart of Black Horse Estate is its artisanal craft brewery and distillery. Here, Marius can take you on a tour of the Gin and craft beer distilleries. Nuschka Botha, one of South Africa's youngest female brewers, handcrafts exceptional beers using natural spring water and the finest hops.

The brewery offers a range of unique brews, each reflecting a commitment to quality and innovation.

Black Horse Estate offers a gin tasting experience for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The gin tasting room is open daily from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. For a fee of R80, guests can select four options from their curated selection of gins and other spirits.

Additionally, Black Horse Estate provides brewery and distillery tours that conclude with a gin tasting session in the Cardinal Bar. These tours, lasting approximately 45 minutes to an hour, offer insights into the art of distilling and brewing. The tour includes a branded glass and a tasting flight of spirits or beer. Tours are available on Fridays at 2:00 PM, Saturdays at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and Sundays at 11:00 AM.
