Stonehaven boasts the largest Garden Restaurant in South Africa with utterly charming gardens, over 1000 rosebushes, ponds, water features, herb gardens, over 200 old milk cans spread within the garden setting and delightful quotes of the day.
The Children's Play area is well situated within the Garden Restuarant. It is so designed that you can enjoy your meal in peace while happily watching your children thrive on all the Stonehaven kiddies activities like the Large Gladiator Jumping Castle, Trampoline, The Big Water Slip Slide, Swimming Pool, Tree House, Jungle Gym and Sand Pit. There is also a Kiddies Animal Farm. There is a Kiddies a la carte meal Mondays to Saturdays and on Sundays there is a specially designed Children's Buffet.
Stonehaven boasts the largest private collection of nautical antiques in South Africa and Stonehavens River Pub is packed with these! Whenever there is a TV Sporting Event this is shown on the big screen as well as the smaller TV's. The River Pub just oozes ambience and character!
The Pub also has three character Fire Places that always boast roaring fires even at the mere hint of cold weather. A marvellous way to spend a cold grump day or evening … sipping your favourite drink in front of one of the roaring fireplaces.
Stonehaven is open 7 days a week and serves an extensive a la carte menu Monday - Saturday and on Sundays there are Light Meals, Buffets, Kiddies Buffets, and Braais.
Conferences at Stonehaven, Stone Manor or on The Three Cruisers are available to suit all your needs.
If you wish to treat your delegates to the unique experience of conferencing by Cruiser - the cost over and above the above mentioned day packages will be the hours required for the Cruisers.

A Wedding Reception at Stonehaven On Vaal
Stonehaven on Vaal is a unique Garden Estate set right on the exclusive banks of the Vaal River, with over 1000 rose bushes, beautiful gardens and a very special charming ambiance.
We have a Garden Chapel (included in your Venue fee) and several Venues, each pertinent to different sized weddings. We also have a very private Garden Chapel at Stone Manor. In addition to land Venues, we also have Cruisers that are most suitable for elegant weddings.
Attention to detail is our forte. We spend time with you going over your plans to ensure that the wedding is tailored just for you. If you so wish, we have the facility for you to arrive by Boat, or by luxury car - Jaguar and to have a Scottish Piper playing on the Boat and head your entourage up to the Chapel and Reception. It is very romantic. We also have a magnificent Bridal Suite with Spa Bath in our River Manor House – “Stone Manor”.
The River Terrace venue fee includes the beautiful decorating and draping of both the venue and the Chapel, (the full ceilings of the River Terrace and Chapel are draped), fairy lights, table clothes, overlays (your own choice of colour), white chair covers at the Chapel and in the venue, crockery, cutlery, red carpets at the Chapel and up to the Venue, PA System, lectern, personalised Menus for the tables & personalised welcome signs.
Our Executive Chef is very accommodating in meeting personalised menus and needs. A full private Bar is made available in the venues. You will need to advise us of how you would like the Bar managed. No food or beverages are allowed to be brought onto our property including “beverage or food/sweets gifts for guests”.
Like all other businesses, we also have inflation related price increases. So the prices you view today might have gone up by the time of your actual wedding. Please keep in contact with us to see if there has been an increase that will affect your costs.
A deposit equal to the venue fee is required when you finalise the date and request us to reserve that date for your Special Day. The deposit infers that we do not accept other Functions in your venue at that time, and therefore the deposit is not refundable and is a commitment by both parties. Fifty percent of the food bill is required 4 weeks prior to the wedding and full payment of the reception and all costs involved is required two weeks prior to the wedding and these payments are also not refundable if the wedding is cancelled within those weeks.
