FAERIE GLEN NATURE RESERVE
There is an abundance of bird life such as Crested Barbet, Hammerkop and some canary species. The reserve's vegetation is a transition zone between Bankenveld (grass land), Sour mixed bushveld and Sour bushveld (Acacia veld).
Keep your eyes open for the national flower - the Protea which dots the hill side

Directions
From the N1, take the Atterbury rd offramp to the east. At Genl Louis Botha dr turn left and follow the signs to the reserve.
The Plumbago tea garden is in the reserve for refreshments before or after your walk.
