The Voortreker Monument is situated in an awesome envirnoment and can provide for most functions and conferences. With a variety of halls available, the Vortrekker Monument makes a good choice.

The Monument Restaurant:

Hire it for any type of function eg. Weddings, matric farewells, fashion shows, office parties, etc. Situated in the peaceful nature reserve of the Voortrekker Monument Heritage Site. Centrally located near all main routes to Pretoria. Luxuriously furnished, ample parking, quiet area, professional catering are a few of the many features.

A gazebo has also been erected under the shade trees in garden in front of the Restaurant for more intimate occasions for 50 - 100 guests. Excellent background for very lovely photographs.

Monument Restaurant Hall:

A modern venue adjacent to the restaurant, with a beautiful view of the city. With a draped roof and pillars, oak furniture and a veranda around this hall provides a pleasant atmosphere. Available for any type of function. Delicious food a guarantee.

Amphitheatre Hall:

Capacity 200 - 1000 guests

This venue with its unique location, privacy and picturesque view is without compare. Draped entrance hall and dance floor, upholstered furniture and very private. Ample parking and tarred roads. Round tables and fantastic food displays. High quality of service and professional catering. This venue is also air-conditioned.

Die Kroon Room Schanskop:

Capacity 120 guests

This unique venue on pillars with a thatched roof is snugly situated in front of Fort Schanskop between indigenous trees. It has an awesome view of Pretoria and has the potential to become the cream of all function venues, with luxuriously set round tables, high quality cutlery and glassware, classic décor and quality service. This venue is really unique and must not be missed!

Chapel Services:

Capacity 150 guests

After visiting hours, the Cenotaph Hall in the Voortrekker Monument can be used for cultural and ceremonies of a religious nature, such as weddings. The footpaths through the magnificent gardens of the Voortrekker Monument and the lift the Monument make the Monument more accessible for movement-disabled persons.

Tea Garden:

From Monday to Friday, light appetising meals can be served on the veranda of the restaurant or in die tea garden. Special menus are available for tour groups or other group bookings - from a barbeque to traditional soup and bread.

Sunday Buffet

Delicious food and value for money - just the way grandmother would have made it. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with soft background music by Alwin van Niekerk. Meals can also be enjoyed on the spacious veranda. Special discount for Friends of the Voortrekker Monument! Jumping castle available for children.

Schanskop Lapa:

A thatched roof lapa with braai (barbeque) facilities for apporoximately 25-50 persons, with a unique view of the city, surrounded by the well-tended gardens, with Fort Schanskop, as well as blesbuck en zebra's in the background. Ideal to combine with the Schanskop Conference venue; a facility with the potential to become Pretoria's most popular gathering place for small groups!

Kiosk

For the quick preparation of light meals and snacks or something to quench the thirst, before or after a visit to the Voortrekker Monument. The kiosk is situated to the right of the steps leading to the Monument.
