Moonlight Backpackers Lodge is situated in a safe area in the valley below the Magaliesberg mountains close to Johannesburg, Pretoria and Pilanesberg National Park.

The property is 8 hectares (18 football fields) in size with spacious clean accommodation, many bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, swimming pool, braai (BBQ) areas, bar, lapa, secure parking and much more.
The immediate area around Moonlight Backpackers Lodge and Hartbeespoort offers a large variety to see & do, such as the Elephant sanctuary, Lesedi cultural village, African curio markets, Horse trails, Cheetah centre, White water rafting, Quad biking, Cable car up the mountain, and much more.

We offer a smaller dormitories with bunk beds that are not overcrowded.

We use the double rooms without bathrooms, or our twin rooms as single rooms, depending on availability.
