SEATING:

Seating capacity: Broadacres: 500

Seating is at tables or table-height counters on various levels including a gallery and two semi-private levels. Block bookings of 50 or more can be accommodated in semi-private areas in the auditorium.

The theatre has multifunctional facilities which include:

- Double doors at the back of the stage which allow up to 4 motor vehicles onto the stage (this must be confirmed with the theatre management)

THE SHOW:

The client may choose to incorporate the resident show into their function. When the show is included in the function the evening can be tailor-made to accommodate your requirements. Welcoming drinks, speeches and branding opportunities can be discussed with theatre management.

CONDITIONS OF VENUE HIRE:

General:

-Should you wish to hold a function that does not include a show, management of the theatre will have to check the availability in accordance with scheduled shows.
- All prices are subject to change without notice.
- The theatre is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage by fire or injury of any other nature to any person or article..

Matinees:

The full venue needs to be hired for all matinee shows except normal Sundays shows. Matinees need to be booked 14 days in advance to allow the performance to be scheduled. All patrons attending a matinee performance must vacate the theatre by 16h00. This will allow us to prepare the venue for the evening performance.

DINING AT THE BARNYARD THEATRE

The 500-seater Barnyard Theatre in Broadacres opened in Fourways, on 25 March 2003.

While patrons are given the option of packing a picnic basket, ordering from us or sitting down in our restaurant no beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) may be brought onto the premises. The theatre has a fully stocked bar with an excellent selection of wines.

Please phone the bookings office for ticket prices. Shows are suitable for the entire family (please use your discretion) but also provide the perfect backdrop for entertaining important clients, hosting corporate and year-end functions and other staff parties.

The theatre opens an hour-and-half prior to the start of the show to allow people time to soak up the atmosphere over dinner and a few drinks
