Wickers Riverside Estate is a small country hotel set in beautiful gardens on the banks of two Magaliesburg rivers. Escape from the rat race in only 45 minutes (from central Johannesburg and Pretoria). Come to the oldest mountain range in the world and recharge your batteries.

Exchange your vows in our riverbank chapel, or dine on the terraces while your children play on the jumping castle, trampoline and swimming pool. Our quaint thatched pub is perfect for family get-togethers or intimate evenings. We cater for all types of functions from conferences to wedding receptions & birthday parties. All our rooms are individually decorated and offer very flexible accommodation, from family suites to romantic double rooms with fireplaces.

Our menus are equally varied; dine in style in the Kingfisher Restaurant, unwind on the garden terrace or enjoy a pub meal and a long cold drink!

ACCOMMODATION:

From two roomed family suites and spacious twin rooms to romantic double rooms with fireplaces, the accommodation at Wickers is designed to meet every guest’s needs.

Each unit is uniquely decorated and individually planned. Some are secluded single units and others are in bigger cottages, all rooms are en suite with tea/coffee facilities and private entrances.

Selected rooms are equipped with Satellite Television and these can be requested on booking. All the rooms are situated on the far side of the Kanaal River away from the main buildings and restaurant so that peace and quiet is guaranteed. Our property is safe and secure with 24-hour patrols.

All our facilities are available for private hire and when necessary we will reserve the entire Hotel for private functions. We can organise all your party needs including DJ’s, mobile discos, classical musicians, florists, magicians, children’s’ entertainers and motivational speakers. Simply choose an appropriate venue (see Restaurants/Venues) according to number of guests and type of function and we will quote on a total package which includes food, beverages and entertainment.
